Two lilac females (DNA tested lilac), one lilac (possibly
fawn) male and one usual female born 26th
June 2011 from Aswani
Narnia (Narnia) x Crystalpaws Coco-Noisette (Coco)
All reserved.
Coco, had her kittens in the early hours. I checked her
around 3:30am but when I checked again at 7:00am she had had them!! I
thought she had only just started to have them, as there was a kitten who
had obviously just been born (and warm) next to her in it's sac and with
afterbirth still attached but then I moved the newspaper (which I always put
under the blanket) that she had ripped up and found her other kittens!!! I
made a quick dash downstairs to put the heated pad in the microwave, grabbed
some towels and a dry blanket before finishing drying them all! Coco was
looking very confused through all this (it is her first litter) and just
kept looking at me as if to say " what has just happened?" I managed to get
three of them feeding fairly quickly but the last one born seemed a little
reluctant, so I left it with Coco for a little while but it didn't seem able
to latch on, so I gave it some Nutridrops and fed it some milk, which she
loved, and now she is feeding with others - albeit five hours after being
born!! The male is the smallest but he seems to be holding his own against
his big sisters!

1 day old
At one week old, Coco's kittens are doing well and all
gaining weight steadily. Coco is a very relaxed mum and is happy to let us
handle her babies to weigh and check them.

At three weeks old, Coco's kittens are starting to chase each other around
their kitten box. They are very lively babies and seem to really enjoy being
cuddled. They all appear to have inherited their mum's lovely ear tufts!

At six and a half weeks old, Coco's kittens are all eating really well - the
usual female loves dried food but the others all love wet food. They now
spend a lot of time chasing each other around the kitchen. I managed to
catch them grabbing a nap, so I was able to get some pictures!

At eight weeks old, Coco's kittens are very lively and it took me ages to
get a picture of one of the lilac females - in the end my step-daughter had
to hold her to keep her in one place!

At ten weeks old, Coco's kittens have had their first vaccinations and
health checks. They were all very well behaved and took it all in their
stride. They were a bit quiet for a day but they have been as lively as ever
since!
