Ghost had her kittens very quickly again at the lovely
time of 3:30 in the morning!! I was a little concerned that her kittens were
quite overdue, so I took her to the vet the previous afternoon to check that
all was well - everything was fine and Ghost even had a scan! Ghost wasn't
keen on being in the car, so maybe it helped hurry them up a bit ;-) The
kittens are all very big and very greedy.
One day old sleepy kittens.
At one week old, Ghost's kittens have all more than doubled their birth
weight and are all very fat and content! Ghost is a fantastic mum, as per
normal.

At two and a half weeks old, Ghost's kittens all have their eyes open. They
are still very big, chubby babies! Ghost is a very laid back mum and they
are all very content.

At four weeks old, Ghost's kittens have just started to eat solid food -
they didn't need much encouragement, as soon as they sniffed it, they were
eating!! They were all fast asleep when I took their pictures, so they all
look very sleepy and didn't want to open their eyes!

At six weeks old, Ghost's kittens are now tearing around the house with
Tas's kittens. It took ages to take a picture
of the lilac female and the fawn male as they were far too busy chasing each
other around!!

At nine weeks old, Ghost's kittens have had their first vaccinations and the
vet even remarked at how well grown they were! They were hissing at all the
dogs in the vet's waiting room (despite them living with two big dogs!!) but
as soon as we went in to see the vet, they were purring!

At thirteen weeks old, Ghost's kittens have had their second vaccinations
and the boys have gone to their new homes. Star, the lilac female, is
staying with us to eventually take over from her mum in our breeding
programme.
