Three usual males, one usual female and one usual tortie female born 29th January 2009 from Grand Champion Abychat Blue Thunder (Storm) x Flamstone Crystalmosaic (Mosaic).

Mosaic had her kittens in the early hours of the morning and, apart from needing a little help to clean them all, she did really well (especially as last time she took all day and then needed a caesarean!). One of the females is a little smaller than the others but she is still quite a good weight and they are all feeding well.

At one day old

At one week old, Mosaic's kittens have all doubled their birth weight and are just beginning to  open their eyes. The males are so similar, it's really difficult to tell them apart when weighing them! Mosaic seems to be really enjoying motherhood and is purring constantly. One of the females is definitely tortie but the other shows no sign of tortie on her yet, so she may just be a usual.

At two weeks old, Mosaic's kittens all have their eyes open (although the males decided that they didn't want to open them for their pictures today!) I'm still finding it difficult to tell the males apart but they are all gaining weight at a fast rate!

At three weeks old, Mosaic's kittens have learnt how to climb out of their kitten box and are already starting to sniff their mum's food.

At nearly four weeks old, Mosaic's kittens are much more agile than just a few days ago and are starting to run rather than walk! We will try to tempt them with some tasty solid food in a couple of days - a couple of them are starting to lick their mum's bowl.

At just over five weeks old, Mosaic's kittens are turning into real characters. They are all real people cats and will try to find somebody's lap to curl up on when they are tired.

At seven and a half weeks old, Mosaic's kittens are very lively and are running around the house like a herd of elephants!! They not only sit on our laps a lot but also like to climb onto our backs if we sit on the floor!!

At just over nine weeks old, Mosaic's kittens have had their first vaccinations - a couple of the males even purred whilst they were having them!! This litter have the most fantastic personalities and are all really purry lap cats. They also all now have names.

At twelve weeks old, Mosaic's kittens have had their second vaccinations. Some of them purred again whilst having them done! They are starting to look quite grown up now too! They will be going to their new homes next week.
