Star didn't have her kittens at the
best time of day - they were born between 1:20am and 3:00am, so a very long
night for us, as I didn't go to bed until the last was born! It wasn't the
easiest labour because the first kitten was quite large and breach but she
coped well and all three kittens are doing well and gaining weight very
fast. Star is proving to be an excellent mum.
3 days old
At nine days old, Star's kittens have more than doubled their birth weight
and are really chubby little babies! Star is proving to be an excellent
relaxed mum.

At two weeks old, Star's kittens have all opened their eyes and are starting
to find their way around their kitten box. They are still very fat and
chubby, they are gaining weight at a phenomenal rate!

At three weeks old, Star's kittens are starting to explore their kitten box
and will soon be learning how to climb out!

At four weeks old, Star's kittens are now in their cute teddy bear looking
stage. They still haven't learnt how to get out of their kitten box but are
starting to stand up on their back legs and peer over - so I don't think it
will be long!

At six weeks old, Star's kittens are really tucking into solid food now.
They are out of their kitten box and are enjoying chasing each other around
their kitten pen.

At seven and a half weeks old, Star's kittens are really playful and are
enjoying chasing each other around our bedroom and bouncing on our bed! The
female is definitely the leader and the first to get into mischief!

At nine weeks old, Star's kittens have had their first vaccinations and
health checks - the vet remarked on how well grown they all are! The boys
weren't too impressed by their vaccinations but were happy when they came
home and had their lunch. They now all have names.

At twelve weeks old, Star's kittens have now had their second vaccinations
and the boys will be going off to their new homes in the next few days.
Fleur is staying with us. The have all been enjoying playing and sunbathing
in our outside run!
